Venice Beach

This oceanfront boardwalk is filled with mind-blowing activities and attractions. Venice truly has a vibe like no other! Here are a few more budget-friendly things you should try next time you visit.

Beach Cruising

Renting a beach cruiser is a must try when coming to Venice Beach. People of all ages can grab a bike at one of the shops and follow the path to Santa Monica. It is a 20-minute ride both ways and cost about $6 per hour. If you're feeling a bit more adventurous there is a 22-mile path that goes from Santa Monica to Redondo Beach. It is a great way to spend a few hours alongside the water and it only cost about $16 to rent the bike for the day.

Wander Around

Venice is infused with mouth-watering restaurants, lively street performers, boisterous skaters, and vibrant locals. Walking around and exploring is free and fun for anyone.

Shop Till You Drop

Yes, even for budget shoppers. Venice is known for having a wide variety of shops. It is a great place to indulge in different cultures where you can buy henna from India or incense from Jamaica. You can also find trinkets to take back home at one of the souvenir shops. Or try thrift shopping you can spend next to nothing while still finding fashionable pieces.

Show Off (Muscle Beach)

If you're into fitness this outdoor gym is for you. It is a magnificent place to exercise with a majestic view and an audience. However, if you're not into fitness you may find pleasure in watching others break a sweat while you enjoy you funnel cake which is also a must try when visiting Venice.

Say Goodbye

Grab a beach blanket, plenty of snacks, and join your friends to watch the relaxing Sunset. It is a great way to end a long day. Sit back relax and enjoy as the sun descends below the horizon. As the light of the day slowly fades snap a few pics, the golden hour gives the perfect lighting, so don't be afraid to take a few selfies! :)
