Moving To Bali : Travel Diary

Moving Away

Have you ever traveled to a place that you never wanted to leave? Well, Bali is that place for me. It's my Oasis where I feel motivated and completely free. I always seek adventure in my life and have never been more satisfied with the beauty I found then when I was in Bali.

There's so much to be inspired by, the palm trees in the jungle, the rumbling waterfall, the peaceful people, and the actual sense of freedom you feel. Its truly a blissful experience and I can't get enough. No matter how many times I visit, I always feel like there's still so much I haven't seen.

This overwhelming feeling of exploration helped me decide that its time for a change in life. So in March of 2018, I will be moving to Bali! I've always been the type of person to take big leaps in life. So my decision to move to the other side of the world, where I only know one person doesn't come as a surprise to the people that know me. I've decided to move on my own and finally take time for myself.

Last year in February of 2017 I decided to sell all of my belongings (car, clothes, furniture, apartment). I realized it wasn't the "things" that would make me happy but something much more important. It was myself and my appreciation for life that would grow me. Although I fell on my butt at the beginning of my journey last year, I made a promise to myself, to never give up and to always follow my heart.

I have no idea how long I will be staying in Bali. In fact, I have no idea where I will even live. I plan to look for a place once I arrive and see what happens. I came to realize that in life the best experiences are the ones that aren't planned and I can't wait to see where this adventure takes me!
